Coaching Staff
Please complete steps in order
Step 2: Live Scan Form Fingerprinting
Print and take completed form to PDQ, 216 F Street, Davis, CA 95616. An appointment is not necessary. For questions or hours please call (530) 756-7084. If you do not have the form, you will be asked to come back with it. District pays the fees.
Step 3: TB Results
All District Employees must provide proof of negative TB test results or provide a waiver completed by your healthcare provider. Submit proof to Wendy Lewis. TB results are valid for 4 years.

Step 4: Complete Mandated Trainings
Part of the employment hiring process is completion of the mandated trainings. To access the trainings, please follow the steps below:
Open the webpage www.targetsolutions.com/davisjusd
Enter your username which is your email address
Enter your temporary password which is 1DJUSDtrain!
Verify your email address twice in the window provided and then click the “send verification email.”
Check your email inbox for a verification from Target Solutions. If it is not there, check your spam/junk folder. Click on the link to confirm your email.
The final step is to complete the new user account information form and submit
Step 5: CPR & First Aid
Complete a certified CPR/First Aid & AED course.
If coaching a water sport, Water Safety Certification is also required. American Red Cross Lifeguarding Course covers both water safety and CPR/First Aid and meets the City of Davis requirement for pool use.
CPR/First Aid & AED is valid for 2 years. Must be renewed every two years if continuing to coach.

Step 6: NFHS Coaching Courses
Required coaching courses are Concussions In Sports, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, Heat Illness Prevention. These courses are valid for 2 years. Must be renewed every two years if continuing to coach.

Once you have completed your course work please upload it to your Coaching Profile on Final Forms.
Step 7: Sign Variable Services Agreement
A Variable Services Agreement will be initiated by the Athletic Director for each sport you coach. This form is your agreement with the district for your services. You will receive a link via email, this must be signed in order to be paid for your services.
Please Note:
Coaches and Volunteer Coaches are not allowed to supervise students, or participate in conditioning activities or practices, until notified by the Personnel Services Department that they have completed the appropriate paperwork and all requirements.
No exceptions.
